Purpose
A consistent meditation practice can be truly life-changing. It is one of the most powerful practices we can cultivate for our overall well-being, yet often one of the hardest things to commit to - simply sitting down, becoming still, and allowing ourselves to be. True freedom, peace, and lasting happiness are cultivated from within. The real work happens on the inside.
This is an opportunity to create the meditation practice you’ve always wished you had - the practice you know, deep down, is worth showing up for. A dedicated space to slow down, turn inward, and build a relationship with yourself through the practice of pure awareness.
This 6-week meditation group is a space created for those looking to deepen their meditation practice through the support and accountability of a group.
You are encouraged to practice meditation everyday for the full six weeks! Our weekly meet-up will consist of the following:
Arrive at 6:00 AM and quietly set up your seat.
Doors will close at 6:10 AM, and meditation will begin once everyone is settled.
Please arrive practicing silence (no talking or phones) and move mindfully and quietly as you create your space.
Our meditation practice will end at 6:30 AM.
From there, take some time to transition out of your practice: stretch, enjoy some tea, journal, or continue to sit in stillness.
We’ll then open the space for optional group discussion. If there’s anything that came up during your practice that you’d like to process, explore, or share aloud, you’re welcome to do so. There is no expectation to speak, just an opportunity to be witnessed and supported by the group.
If you’re new to meditation or aren’t sure where to begin, please feel free to reach out to Amanda at (760) 505-4038 before attending. She’d be happy to offer some guidance and helpful tips to help you feel prepared.
This meditation group series is free, but you must commit to the full six weeks. Please reserve your spot since space is limited.
